As the current Chair of the UK Policy Governance Association and a board member of the International Policy Governance Association, Caroline is particularly apprised of the latest developments in one of the world’s most innovative approaches to accountability.

John Bruce has worked with public sector boards as governor/director/chair/CGO and consultant. He has over 30 year’s board experience including nearly 20 as a chair. He has consulted on governance, spoken at many conferences on the subject and he comes from a background of management and organization development in the private and public sectors. John is passionate about boards governing well and is a director of both the UK Policy Governance Association and the International Policy Governance Association. He attended the Policy Governance Academy in 2007. He is a member of the Institute of Directors in the UK, is a college governor, a recently retired hospital chair and a former college chair. He also supports the work of the Centre for Health Enterprise at Cass Business School in London.

Sherry has over 20 years of executive level experience with not-for-profit and private sector industries. As a consultant for the past 12 years, she has assisted a wide variety of clients and industries — agriculture, arts, banking, education, healthcare, human services, international marketing and trade, public lands, utilities, technology, and more. Sherry holds a B.S. in Human Services Management and an M.S. in Psychology. She is working on a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Robert Ballantyne

Robert Ballantyne

For 20 years, Robert Ballantyne produced shows for three of Canada’s major planetariums including a decade as Director of the Manitoba Planetarium. He has played leadership roles in environmental and tourism organizations included a year as Interim CEO of the Marmot Recovery Foundation — to set up the organization to save Canada’s most endangered mammal, and terms as Chair of the Winnipeg Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Canadian Nature Federation (now called Nature Canada), and is currently the Chair of BC Spaces for Nature. He has been a management consultant since 1989 and has been trained in the advanced facilitation of Policy Governance® by John and Miriam Carver. His consulting practice is international.
